For example, 98% of Sage Homes properties have an energy performance certificate of A or B, the highest ratings available in England. Sage Homes is also undertaking pioneering low-carbon technology trials with partner developers, exploring low-carbon technology in pilot projects and undertaking solar retrofit.

Adhering to regulations such as the Fair Housing Act and ensuring long-term affordability commitments demonstrate strong governance. In the UK, the Regulator of Social Housing awarded Sage Homes a G1 rating, the highest Governance rating. They also awarded a V2 rating in the Governance and Financial Viability Standard, demonstrating that the Regulator is confident that Sage Homes complies with its regulations.
